Bidecalcium fused magnesia

Electrofused magnesia with a calcium-silicate ratio of 2 or greater refers to a magnesia-calcium refractory material produced via a synthetic process with a specified CaO/SiO₂ ratio, also known as high-calcium magnesia. Materials with a CaO/SiO₂ ratio of 2 or greater are termed electrofused magnesia with a calcium-silicate ratio of 2. It is used in the manufacture of magnesia-calcium bricks and ladle bricks for steel refining.
