Large-crystal fused magnesia
Large-crystal fused magnesia is produced through a specific manufacturing process that promotes larger crystal growth within the fused magnesia. This material's production process is more complex than that of standard fused magnesia. Large-crystal fused magnesia features larger crystal dimensions, endowing the material with superior thermal shock stability and erosion resistance. Due to its larger crystal structure, it demonstrates enhanced performance against chemical and slag erosion. It is primarily used in the production of various medium-to-high-grade magnesia-carbon bricks and diverse unshaped refractories, as well as serving as an insulating material in the electronics industry.
