Electric furnace tapping hole packing

During electric furnace smelting, the packing material at the steel tapping outlet forms a sintered layer where it contacts molten steel, preventing downward penetration of the molten steel. The unsintered packing beneath this layer flows out smoothly when the tapping plate is opened. Leveraging the pressure of the molten steel, the sintered layer is breached, achieving automatic tapping. The tapping hole packing exhibits characteristics such as non-floating properties, high self-opening rate, simple operation, safe usage, and no contamination of molten steel, making it suitable for electric furnace tapping holes.
