Converter large-area repair material

Converter Large-Surface Repair Material is formulated using premium magnesia raw materials and unique organic binders to address premature wear on converter trunnions, large surfaces, and areas surrounding the tapping hole. This product series features low smoke emission, high bonding strength, excellent high-temperature fluidity, and resistance to erosion and abrasion, making it an ideal material for hot repairs of converter linings.

At elevated temperatures, the product rapidly softens into a fluid state. After application and furnace rocking, it forms an even distribution across both the large and small surfaces of the converter. This process thickens the lining and facilitates rapid sintering, thereby extending the service life of the converter lining.
